Lawren Harris’ Winter in the Northern Woods sold for $1.4-million ($1.58-million with buyer’s premium) at Sotheby’s Canada Spring auction held in Toronto yesterday, making it the second most valuable Harris ever sold on the resale market. Baffin Island sold for $2.2-million in 2001.
