Lawren Harris’ Sketch |

At Heffel’s Fine Art Auction held May 25, 2006 at Vancouver’s Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel, the top three lots sold were all painted by Group of Seven artist Lawren Harris. Each of the three oil on board images measured 12 x 15 inches, and two of the images exceeded the previous record price of $500,000.00 (hammer) for a Lawren Harris sketch. Mount Lefroy sold for $1,677,500.00 (all prices include a 15% Buyer’s Premium). |
